Butterscotch and Milk Chocolate Puppy Chow

Amazingly flavorful snack that will keep you going back for secondsYou just can’t beat the flavor combination of chocolate, peanut butter, and butterscotch. This Butterscotch and Milk Chocolate Puppy Chow brings them all together with a crispy little crunch that will keep you reaching for the bowl! I love peanut butter rice crispy treats topped with a mixture of melted chocolate and butterscotch chips. I have even paired these flavors up in fudge, so I knew this was gonna be good…..and boy is it! I don’t think I will be able to eat regular puppy chow anymore. The extra little “amazing factor” from the added butterscotch chips is addicting!

And let’s talk about how fast and simple puppy chow is to make. Puppy chow is a great, simple microwave recipe for kids who are learning to cook! It is one of those treats you can whip up in five minutes. Even better is everything you need to make it with can be stored in the pantry so you can keep it on hand.  Having all the ingredients on hand can be a bit dangerous, though….at least for a sugar addict like me. 🙂

You have an additional shape in there (the hexagon) that I don’t recognize the cereal, what might it be?

LOL, I actually used generic Crispix Cereal in this…it is the same thing as chex, just a hexagon instead of a square. 🙂

These were awesome! And as with all other versions of muddy buddies I’ve tried, these taste the best, to me and my family, right out of the freezer. Oh, my, these are sweet and delicious. A legs glass of milk with an over the top silly straw is highly recommended.

    Two thumbs up!
