Caramel Cheesecake Apple Dip

https://reallifedinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Caramel-Apple-Cheesecake-Dip-3.jpg

With apples at their prime right now, I have been serving them any chance I get. Last week I made this Caramel Cheesecake Apple Dip for a play-date lunch with some friends, and it was a hit. Even the pickiest eater gobbled it right up. You can’t go wrong sharing this Cinnamon Sugar Apple Salad either.

I wanted a dip that had my favorite flavors from the good ol’ brown sugar, cream cheese dip that is very popular with apples, but I wanted to try and make it a little smoother and easier to dip. I also wanted to incorporate caramel–because Caramel!

Awesome Apple Recipes

  • Dutch Apple Pie
  • Snickers Apple Salad
  • Old Fashioned Apple Crisp
  • Jewish Apple Cake
  • Caramel Apple Baked French Toast
  • Overnight Apple Pie Oats

The recipe couldn’t be more simple, and the results turned out even better than I had hoped. The dip is delicious and very smooth and easy to dip apples into. I finished it off with a handful of chopped peanuts, but another great option would be toffee bits.

If you are a big fan of caramel, or cheesecake, or apples, give this fun and beautiful recipe a try!

how to make Caramel Cheesecake Apple Dip

  • In a medium-size mixing bowl, use a whisk or hand mixer to beat softened cream cheese, sour cream, brown sugar, and vanilla.

Tips for making Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip
  • The most important thing is to make sure the cream cheese is really soft before you try to beat the other ingredients into it. You don’t want any lumps. You can set it out at least 4-6 hours in advance, or you can microwave it for about 45-60 seconds.
  • I like to use the bottled Caramel Ice Cream Topping from Aldi, but any thick caramel ice cream topping will work.
  • Use a mini food processor to finely chop the peanuts.
  • For this recipe, I personally like to dip sliced Gala or Honey Crisp apples.
  • Store the dip in the fridge for up to 1 week.a pinterest collage photo of caramel apple cheesecake dip. it has two pictures in it.

Cream cheese, brown sugar, and caramel are the main players in this delicious dip, but there is a surprise ingredient that makes it more smooth and easier to dip your apples in. Perfect Fall dip for all those perfect apples.

Wow!! I made this for a Christmas party last night and it was a HUGE hit! My platter was wiped clean!! I not only had apples to dip but also used Nilla Wafers which were delicious in the dip as well! I will be making this again!
