Fast and simple fool proof recipe for delicious whole wheat waffles. We use dry milk reconstituted in this recipe to help us rotate through our food storage. We also keep plenty of wheat in our food storage that we rotate and grind up for recipes like this one.

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup oil
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until well combined
  2. Add wet ingredients and whisk until smooth
  3. Pour onto a hot waffle iron
  4. If your waffle iron is new you may need to spray it lightly with cooking spray
  5. Follow directions and cooking time for your waffle iron
  6. Serve with syrup or other toppings of your choice
