Classic Cordon Bleu flavors in a simple and comforting casserole. Layers of chicken, ham, broccoli, and stuffing all infused with a delicious and creamy sauce.
Serves: 8-10
  • 1 box of your favorite stuffing, prepared according to package directions. (If using homemade, you will need approx. 4-6 cups)
  • 1-2 lbs chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 cups ham, cubed or in 1-inch strips
  • 1 lb broccoli florets
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup, plus ¾ of the can filled with milk
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp spicy brown or dijon mustard
  • 6 large slices of Swiss cheese or 1½ cups shredded Swiss Cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray and spread the chicken pieces on the bottom in an even layer.
  3. Next, evenly sprinkle the ham pieces over the chicken.
  4. Place the broccoli florets on top of the ham.
  5. In a medium-size mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, and mustard. Pour this mixture over the broccoli. Evenly place the Swiss cheese slices over the sauce, and then evenly spread the prepared stuffing over the cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you use cooked chicken instead of raw chicken, you can lower the baking time to 45 or 60 minutes. You want the casserole to be hot in the center and bubbling around the edges. You can remove the foil and toast the stuffing for a minute or two under the broiler if you would like.
  7. Enjoy!
