Serves: 15-20
Ingredients
1 chocolate cake mix (prepared according to package directions in a 9x13 pan)
Prepare and bake a chocolate cake in a 9x13 glass baking dish according to the package directions.
Let cake cool for 15-20 minutes.
Poke dime-size holes about ½ to 1 inch apart all over the cake.
Prepare the pudding layer by finely (extremely fine) crushing 7-8 Oreos and whisking them together with the instant vanilla pudding mix, 1 cup heavy cream, and 1½ cups milk.
Once pudding mixture is whisked together, immediately pour it over the cake, making sure to pour it or spread it directly into the dime-size holes.
Next, add the Cool Whip layer evenly over the pudding. Refrigerate the cake for at least one hour or until it is completely cooled. No need to cover it unless you plan to refrigerate it for more than a few hours before serving.
Right before serving, crush the remaining Oreos and sprinkle on top of the Cool Whip layer.
Keep leftovers covered and refrigerated.
Enjoy!
