A delicious combination of beef, sauteed mushrooms, and green onions toasted up in a yummy bun with melty cheese.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 green pepper, finely diced
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 6-8 ounces mushrooms, finely diced
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 8-10 slices Provolone cheese
  • 8-10 rolls or buns of your choice
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, brown the hamburger meat until completely cooked. Drain excess fat off if desired.
  2. Next, add the finely diced veggies, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking until veggies are tender.
  3. Prepare rolls or buns by slightly toasting them in the oven.
  4. Cut a slice of cheese in half to fit in the rolls properly and add the cheese and meat mixture.
  5. Place the built sandwiches on a baking sheet or in a 9x13 pan and place under the broiler for one minute or until the cheese is nice and bubbly.
  6. Serve immediately.
