Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 green pepper, finely diced
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 6-8 ounces mushrooms, finely diced
- 1½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 8-10 slices Provolone cheese
- 8-10 rolls or buns of your choice
- In a large skillet, brown the hamburger meat until completely cooked. Drain excess fat off if desired.
- Next, add the finely diced veggies, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking until veggies are tender.
- Prepare rolls or buns by slightly toasting them in the oven.
- Cut a slice of cheese in half to fit in the rolls properly and add the cheese and meat mixture.
- Place the built sandwiches on a baking sheet or in a 9x13 pan and place under the broiler for one minute or until the cheese is nice and bubbly.
- Serve immediately.
