Simple and incredibly delicious Slow Cooker French Toast Breakfast Casserole made with eggnog and topped with a delicious drizzle.

Ingredients
  • 1 large baguette or loaf of french bread, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups eggnog
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp butter, cut into small cubes
  • GLAZE:
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp Eggnog
  • ¼ tsp vanilla
Instructions
  1. Line a slow cooker with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium- or large-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Next, whisk in the eggnog.
  4. Add cut up baguette or french bread and stir until well coated.
  5. Pour into the prepared slow cooker and put the small pieces of butter on top. Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5 hours.
  6. Right before serving, make the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, eggnog, and vanilla. Drizzle over the top of the casserole.
  7. If desired, you can also serve with maple syrup or you can double the glaze recipe and serve over individual servings.
