A warm, delicious baked oatmeal that is spiced to perfection and tastes like Christmastime. An absolute must for the holiday season!

Ingredients
  • 3 cups quick oatmeal
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • ½ cup molasses
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1½ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • **1-2 tbsp brown sugar for sprinkling on top (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray an 8x8 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  3. In a medium-sized mixing bowl combine all ingredients except for the optional brown sugar.
  4. Stir together until completely mixed.
  5. Pour into the prepared baking dish. If desired, sprinkle with 1-2 tbsp of brown sugar.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
  7. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a splash of milk.
  8. Enjoy!
