A chewy and delicious cookie bar generously sprinkled throughout with Butterfinger pieces. A perfect lunch box treat.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, very firmly packed
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ⅛ tsp (or large pinch) baking soda
  • 1 (8 ounce) bag of Butterfinger Baking Bits
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. In a stand mixer or with a hand mixer, cream together the softened butter, packed brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Cream for 1 minute.
  3. Next, mix in the eggs and vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl combine the all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Once combined, gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture. Mix well.
  5. Next, add the Butterfinger pieces and mix until thoroughly distributed.
  6. Press cookie dough into the prepared 9x13 pan.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-25 minutes or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting.
