Simple Corn Bread that comes together in minutes and bakes up perfect every time! I like to use coarse corn meal to give it a slightly grainy texture, but fine corn meal works great too.

Ingredients
1 cup corn meal
1 cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
⅓ cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
1 egg slightly beaten
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Stir dry ingredients in mixing bowl
Add oil, milk and slightly beaten egg
Mix just until blended, do not over mix
Pour into well greased 9x13 pan
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
