This recipe is for a standard size Ice Cream Maker. Use any of your favorite candy bars or cookies to make this delicious ice cream. I prefer Butterfingers or Oreos.
Author: My mom's friend
Serves: 12
Ingredients
1 can sweet and condensed milk
2 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp vanilla
4 eggs, beaten
Milk to fill line (approx. ½ gallon)
9-12 fun size Butterfingers, chopped
Ice and Rock Salt for Ice Cream Maker
Instructions
Combine the first four ingredients in an ice cream maker. Whisk well until completely blended.
Add milk to the fill line and whisk again to ensure everything is thoroughly mixed.
Follow your ice cream maker's instructions to load and start your mixer. If it is like mine, you need to put a two-inch layer of ice and then about ¼ cup rock salt. Repeat until ice level is up to the top of the ice cream holder.
As soon as the ice cream maker stops, pour ice cream into a large bowl and mix in the chopped candy bars. Put it in whatever container you want to store it in. (I put it back in the Ice Cream maker container I made it in.)
Next, quickly put the ice cream in the freezer to set up.
Enjoy!
