Serves: 6
Ingredients
For the Bowl Base:
1.5 lbs ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
½ cup finely chopped green onions (5-6 whole green onions)
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil. If the ground beef is really fatty, you can skip the olive oil.
Next, use a meat chopper to break up the ground beef and mix in the salt and pepper.
Mix in the green onions, minced garlic, and minced ginger, and brown the ground beef.
Once the mixture is browned, add the soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined, and continue cooking 1-2 minutes to sear in the flavors.
When the mixture is cooked through and seasoned, serve with rice and toppings.
Enjoy!
