Delicious fast rolls you can make in just over an hour. Forming them into clovers makes them extra special.

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp yeast
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1¼ cup warm water
  • ½ cup melted butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 4½ c. flour
Instructions
  1. Combine yeast, sugar, salt, and water in a large bowl. Put aside to dissolve.
  2. Once the mixture is dissolved, add flour, eggs, and melted margarine. Stir together until there are no lumps.
  3. Do not knead. Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
  4. Punch dough down. You may need to add a little more flour if the dough is sticky.
  5. Form into rolls and place on a greased pan or in a greased muffin tin, if making clovers.
  6. Let the rolls rise while the oven preheats to 425 degrees (about 5-10 minutes).
  7. Bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes.
