Worlds Easiest Hot Fudge Cake

Delicious Chocolate cake that makes its own hot fudge sauce. No one will ever believe you made it from a cake mix and a tub of frosting.

Ingredients
- 1 chocolate cake mix, made according to package directions
- 1 tub of chocolate frosting
- Vanilla Ice Cream
Instructions
- This cake can be cooked in the microwave or the oven (see post for more details to help you decide how you want to cook yours.)
- If using the oven, preheat it to 350 degrees
- Lightly grease whatever pan you are using and pour in the prepared cake mix.
- With a cookie scoop or spoon, evenly disperse spoonfuls of the frosting over cake batter.
- Cover with lid and if cooking in the microwave cook on high for 11 minutes
- If cooking in the oven bake at 350 degrees (for 40-45 minutes if using a round dutch-oven style pan) or if you are using a 9x13 pan reduce cooking time to 28-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted an inch down in the center of the cake comes out clean. Be careful not to go too far down with the toothpick because the bottom part of the pan will be the hot fudge sauce and might make you think the cake is not done.
- Serve warm cake with vanilla ice cream.
