Homemade Poppy Seed Dressing

Recipe type: Salad Dressing
Serves: approx 1 cup
- ¼ cup plus 2 tbsp vinegar (I use white or apple cider)
- ¼ cup white granulated sugar
- 2 tsp grated onion or ½ tsp onion powder
- ¾ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp dry mustard powder
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- ½ cup plus 2 tbsp canola or vegetable oil
- Add everything together in your blender or in a shake-able bottle with a tight fitting lid.
- Blend or shake until well blended. Only takes about 5 seconds with the blender. 15 or 20 good shakes in a bottle.
- Pour over desired salad.
- Keep leftover dressing in refrigerator. Dressing keeps for up to 3 weeks in the fridge.
