Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1½ cups brown sugar, lightly packed
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3¼ cup flour
  • 1½ tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ¾ tsp. coarse sea salt (see note above)
  • 1½ cups chocolate chips, milk chocolate
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350° and prepare two cookie sheets with a light spray of cooking spray or parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Using your stand mixer or a hand mixer, beat the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla. Beat again. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add the chocolate chips and mix until distributed evenly.
  4. Use a cookie scoop or large spoon to make dough balls and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheets. If desired, you can add a couple additional chocolate chips to the top of each dough ball.
