Halloween Candy Pancakes

Halloween Candy Pancakes

If you love chocolate chip pancakes you are going to love, love, love, these Halloween Candy Pancakes. In reality you don’t have to use Halloween Candy…but seeings how it is the day after Halloween you should have plenty of candy lying around just waiting to be made into these totally awesome and fun pancakes.

….and with it being the weekend you  have plenty of chances to make these for breakfast, lunch or dinner. 🙂

Halloween Candy Pancakes

I told my kids to pick out a couple of their favorites so I could chop them up and put them in their pancakes. They looked at me like I was crazy for a minute but once they tasted the first one they were digging through looking for another kind they wanted to try.

Halloween Candy Pancakes Recipe

We found that our favorites were Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups mixed with Plain M&M’s and Milky Way with Reese’s Pieces. Butter finger was good too, but it had crispier pieces in it. Thatcher also really liked his Kit Kat one, but I must say I loved the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup with M&M’s.

Halloween Candy Pancake recipeYou can use your favorite pancake recipe or the just add water mix. We used this Copycat Diner Style Pancake Recipe. It is a fast and fun way to make breakfast special. And because the candy is so sweet you don’t even need syrup. We put a little whip cream on our first ones, but found that you really don’t need it.

Super fun way to use up some of that Halloween Candy, and sooo tasty. If you love Chocolate Chip Pancakes you are going to love these.
Author: Maria
Ingredients
  • Pancake Batter
  • Halloween Candy of your choice (We love Reese's, M&M's, Milky Way, Reese's Pieces, Butterfinger, Hershey Chocolate Bars)
Instructions
  1. Chop selected candy into small pieces ( you can leave m&m's and Reese's pieces whole)
  2. Heat skillet or griddle to medium heat. Pour a scoop of Pancake Batter on to hot griddle or skillet and sprinkle with your choice of candies.
  3. Wait for pancake to form small bubbles that begin popping before flipping.
  4. Cook on other side for about 2-3 minutes or less if pancake appears done quicker...this will depend on your cooking temp.
  5. Serve immediately.
  6. May top with Whipped Cream if desired.
