They are a bit pricey, I think around $70.00-$80.00 (this is not a sponsored post, just my personal opinion here) but I had a party and got mine half-price so it was a little less painful. Even if I would have had to pay full price it would have been worth it. It’s a great pan to have in the kitchen. It can do amazing things in the microwave especially.
It can cook a whole chicken in 30 minutes and you can do pasta in it in the microwave, but today I want to tell you about one of my favorite things it can do in the microwave.
So Easy! I used to wrap the corn in plastic wrap and get a similar result, but I have since stopped using plastic in the microwave and this is the perfect method.
- 6 ears of corn, husked
- Deep Covered Baker
- Wash the husked corn and place it in the deep covered baker
- Place lid on deep covered baker and put it in the microwave.
- Cook for 11 minutes
- Serve cooked corn with butter and salt and pepper

Enjoy!
Keep it Real!!!

do you have other recipes for the covered cooker?
Hi Marie,
I Use my covered baker for all kinds of things in the oven, but the only microwave recipes I do are the corn and occasionally I have cooked a whole chicken in it. It only takes 30 minutes and comes out moist and delicious.
if you want to share your email with me I can send you about 80 recipes for the baker.
That would be great! Thank you. Just tonight I used it to warm up tortillas in the microwave, it only took about 90 seconds. It was awesome. I would love whatever recipes you would like to send me. Thanks Daphne!

I always add 1/8 c water and done in 5 min
Thanks for sharing this! All the best!
You’re welcome, thank you!
Love the DCB! I use to be a consultant many years ago! Corn on the cob is great! It is the only way I cook corn on the cob ( unless Iām cooking it for a crowd , then I do cooler corn!). You just husk corn, add about 1/4 cup water to DCB, cover and cook on high in microwave (3 min per ear). So if you have 6 ears in DCB it would be 18 min! Perfect corn on the cob! So many things you can make in it! Yummy!
