Sparkling Holiday Punch

Sparkling-Holiday-Punch-3Want a beautiful centerpiece on your serving table? Want a delicious drink all your guests will love…even the kids? I’ve got a recipe for that! This stunning, non-alcoholic, Sparkling Holiday Punch is as delicious as it is beautiful! This Cucumber Lime-ade is another one of my all-time favs!

A few years ago, a friend of mine made this drink for a party we were in charge of. It was a gorgeous addition to the serving table and was one of the most refreshing punches I had ever tasted.

I quickly got the recipe from her. She had found it on All Recipes.

When I read through the recipe, I was surprised to see how many lemons and oranges it called for. It seemed like a really excessive amount to slice up for garnish in a punch bowl. And with the price of oranges and lemons being a little pricey these days, I opted to use half as many as it called for….and, honestly, that was probably still a little excessive.

Because I wanted the drink to really pop as a beautiful decorative piece, not just a delicious drink, I decided to add limes and fresh cranberries for more color. It makes a big difference. I sliced up three limes because they were extra small, but two regular-sized ones would be plenty.

how to make sparkling holiday punch

  • Depending on the size of your punch bowl, combine all of the liquid ingredients or half of them. If your punch bowl is extra small, just make sure to do equal parts of all the liquids.
  • Add the sliced oranges, lemons, limes, and cranberries. Stir and taste.
  • Add sugar to taste. Start with 2 tbsp.
  • Can add ice if desired.
  • Serve!

The original recipe also calls for Sparkling Cider as one of the ingredients. That stuff is around three dollars a bottle, and they were calling for 4 of them. My thrifty self just couldn’t do that, so I opted for a great replacement of apple juice and ginger ale.

Sparkling-Holiday-Punch-1The results are delicious and beautiful to look at. Your thirsty party guests are going to love this drink! …and so are you!!!

Tips for making Sparkling Holiday Punch
  • My punch bowl can only hold half of the punch recipe at a time. I put all of the oranges, lemons, limes, and cranberries in, and then I add half of the liquid ingredients and sugar. When it is almost empty, I add the remaining liquids and sugar. Works great! If your punch bowl is large, you will probably be able to fit all of it at once.

  3. Add sugar to taste. Start with 2 tbsp.
  4. Can add ice if desired.

The video shows fresh lemonade concentrate, but your ingredients don’t mention that. How much do I add?

Sorry Steph, it has frozen lemonade concentrate. I put half of the container in with half of all the other ingredients, because my punch bowl is only big enough to fit half.
