For all the Oreo Lovers, I’ve got a new fudge recipe that’s gonna be your favorite! The Best Oreo Fudge takes Oreo Fudge to a whole new level. If Oreos are not your thing, no worries. I’ve got you covered with this Classic Chocolate Fudge recipe.
A few years ago, I got a super simple fudge recipe from my sister’s friend, Marci, and it’s so adaptable. You can make all kinds of combinations. The trick to making exceptional and extra special fudge is to put something on the bottom that has a crunch or a nice solid base. In this recipe, it’s the chopped Oreos. After you make the fudge and pour it over the crunch layer, you put something on top that has a nice smooth texture.
In my Mint Fudge Recipe, I used Andes Mints on the top, and in the Candy Bar Peanut Butter Fudge, I used chopped Butterfinger Cups. In this Ultimate Oreo Fudge, I used Hershey Cookies and Cream candy bars that I had coarsely chopped. It’s the perfect touch to take this fudge over the top!

How to make the best oreo fudge
- Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper and set it aside.
- Sprinkle the bottom of the prepared baking dish with the roughly chopped Oreos.
- In a small saucepan, heat the sweetened condensed milk until hot, but not boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in the three cups of chocolate chips. When the chocolate chips are halfway mixed in, add the vanilla and mix the rest of the way until nice and smooth. (Work quickly here so the fudge is still soft and easy to spread.)
- Pour the fudge over the chopped Oreos and quickly smooth it out. It’s okay if it isn’t perfectly smooth.
- Sprinkle with the chopped Cookies and Cream Hershey bars and cover with foil.
- Allow it to sit for 5 minutes or so.
- Once chopped candy bars are melted, use the back of a spoon to evenly spread it over the fudge.
- Cover again and refrigerate for three hours. Remove and cut into 1-inch pieces. Keep covered tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate leftovers.
- If you are giving it as a gift, it will stay freshest if wrapped in plastic wrap.
- Enjoy!

- Make sure to quickly stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla so the fudge will be soft and easy to spread in the pan.
- Experiment with different kinds of cookies and candies to change up the flavors in this fudge recipe.
- Store the fudge in the fridge, tightly wrapped with Saran Wrap.
