If you’re new here, read my first What’s for Dinner post to get filled in on what’s going on. If you’ve been to this rodeo before, let’s get to business.
Tonight we are at my brother Matt’s house and we had hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner. Conner cooked them so he could pass off a requirement in his scout book, he even learned how to clean a grill. I didn’t get a picture of the finished food though, Oops! We also had my favorite baked fries.
The kids are having a great time with their cousins. I know we’re crazy for coming all the way across the country with a newborn baby, but spending time with family and seeing the kids having so much fun with cousins and grandparents definitely goes a long way in making it feel worth it.
Charlotte and Sophie bonding over sippy cups and Barney….notice where Charlotte’s goggles glasses are….someone is having a real hard time keeping them on lately.
Thatcher begs anyone and everyone to play the basketball game with him. He has already told me this is what he wants for his birthday….not exactly in the birthday budget buddy. Sorry!
Seth and Thatcher crusin’ in the cul-de-sac.
Trever has been a little picky about which cousins he will tolerate being held by….pretty sure Seth is his favorite.
Uncle Sim and Taylor having fun playing catch.
I hope you are all having a great summer! Oh, and I promise I’ll start posting recipes soon. I have some great ones for zucchini and rhubarb that you are going to LOVE! I’ve just been a little too sleep deprived to type up anything extra these days….love that Trever boy, but sure wouldn’t mind if he decided to start sleeping through the night. 🙂
Keep it Real!!!

I don’t think you’re crazy! It’s easy to travel with newborns, they sleep all the time!

True that. He actually got the best traveler award out of all four children. 🙂

We were just in Utah!! The weather was so great and I was reminded how much I love the mountains! Enjoy a whole month!! I am jealous 🙁 And I am so glad that Trever is nursing better! I’ve always hated procedures for my babies but sometimes they are so necessary. Lawsen’s had eye surgery 3 times for muscle correction and I cry every time….even sometimes when I think about it…. Hang in there, maria!!
