Apraxia is a motor planning disorder. My son has it. Technically he has CAS, Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Three years ago I had never heard of Apraxia, but now it is a huge part of our everyday lives.
It can be extremely overwhelming at times, especially when you first get the diagnosis. I am hoping that by sharing our experiences and what we have learned we can help others who are just beginning or are right in the middle of this uphill journey.
