If you are new here, read my first What’s for Dinner post to get filled in on what the heck’s going on around here. If you have been to this rodeo before, let’s get down to business.
I hope you all had a great Christmas Day! We had a great time celebrating and playing with new toys in the morning and then we had a nice dinner at a friends house later that afternoon. Like many of you we feel the pang of homesickness that comes from living so far away from family during the holidays, but we’re grateful to have amazing friends who love us and treat us like family!
The partying just doesn’t seem to stop around here this week. We had an impromptu invite to play games with some friends tonight, I almost didn’t go because I have been super tired the last couple days….but, I just can’t say no to an excuse to party, especially when it means a game of Settlers and Knights of Catan.
I made these Lil’ Smokie Pretzel Snacks to take to the game night, and man were they YUMMY! I’ve been wanting to try something like this with my favorite pretzel recipe and I am glad I did, I could have eaten the whole plate myself. I’m definitely making these again for New Years.
We had a snack-y, party food, kind of dinner tonight. The only thing that would have made the night better is if I would’ve won the game of Settlers.
Keep it Real!
Maria
