It was actually fun! I made some adjustments to a few of my favorite recipes, and I tried something new (the pizza bites.) I can’t wait to share all the recipes with you over the next couple weeks.
Here’s a list of what I made.
- 2 batches of my Best Dinner Rolls in One Hour or Less (I am so excited to tell you about the slight adjustments I made in the recipe today…Made them a little healthier, but still AWESOME!) One batch is not pictured, it was still baking…two batches made 48 rolls.
- 2 batches of Whole Wheat Waffles….but I gave them a little fall flare (I’ll be sharing that recipe on The Mother Huddle this Tuesday.) Two batches made about 16 waffles.
- 1 batch Granola Bar Bites (Made 36 bites)
- 1 batch Pepperoni Pizza Bites (Made 48 bites) I made some slight adjustments to The Slow Roasted Italians version, they turned out great, I’ll share recipe soon.
- 2 loaves EASY Artisan Bread (I can’t believe I haven’t shared this recipe yet! It is soooo Easy and delicious! I will share it pronto!)
- 6 cups cooked chicken (I LOVE keeping cooked chicken in the freezer to throw together quick dinners on crazy nights)
- 8 cups Spanish Rice with a sneaky little vegetable hiding in it. We eat this once or twice a week. Can’t believe I haven’t shared this simple side yet! Soon!
I am really looking forward to pulling these goodies out of the freezer on crazy days.
I hope you are having a nice weekend. Mine has been great so far. Baking, cleaning the house with the kids and listening to LDS General Conference. I haven’t left the house all day….Good thing, I am pretty sure my house dress (It’s a gem, I found it at my parents this summer) would scare my neighbors. If you’re lucky I might post a picture of it one day. 🙂
