Yesterday I shared my Top 10 Favorite Dinners along with a $250 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway you can enter all week. Today I’m so excited to share my Top 10 Favorite Dessert Recipes along with another awesome giveaway. Don’t forget to get all the details for today’s giveaway at the end of this post!
Narrowing it down to my top ten favorite desserts is super hard. I couldn’t decide if I should include cookies and brownies, or stick to things that are more traditionally called desserts. In the end, I just decided to go with the Top 10 sugar-y recipes that make me the happiest. This was really, really hard to narrow down.
Top 10 Favorite Desserts in no particular order:
Zucchini Sheet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting: Maybe it’s because it’s zucchini season and I have zucchini on the mind (and in my fridge), but I can’t think of anything more delicious this time of year than a big piece of this cake. It’s one of those that looks innocent but will blow your mind with its flavor. It’s always a HUGE hit whenever I take it anywhere.
Fresh Raspberry Almond Cake: This unique cake will get you hooked after one bite. The cake has a chewy denseness that is almost brownie-like but butter-y with a hint of almond, and then the sweet/tart raspberries throughout make it magical. This cake is incredible and was inspired by this Cranberry Christmas Cake, which is every bit as good as this raspberry version. They are both Must-Makes!
Rice Krispie Ice Cream Dessert: This has been one of my favorite desserts for as long as I can remember. If you haven’t ever had this dessert, don’t even finish reading this post. Run to the store to get what you need and make it ASAP! It has incredible flavor and is soooo simple to make. People will think you are an absolute rockstar if you serve them this dessert.
Strawberry Delight Sheet Cake: I can taste this cake by just looking at the picture. It was the favorite birthday cake in my family growing up and is so delicious and refreshing. This layered cake starts with a cake layer, then a simple, no-bake cheesecake-like layer, and is finished with fresh strawberries in a strawberry-flavored Danish Dessert. It’s incredible, and I get asked for the recipe every time I make it. This recipe makes a whole cookie sheet, too, so it’s great for feeding a crowd.
Marshmallow Peanut Butter Crunch Brownies: Oh, man! These are dangerous. I LOVE THESE BROWNIES SO MUCH!!! My friend, Jackie, gave me this recipe and had a pan of them waiting in my fridge when Sim and I got back from our honeymoon. She has known my love language since day one. I literally go crazy for these, especially if they are straight out of the fridge. They are perfection when they are nice and cold.
Key Lime Pie: This recipe is always going to be a favorite. I’m especially proud of the idea I had to sprinkle sugared zest over the pie and whipped cream. It’s a game-changer and just takes the whole flavor up a notch! This is always the most requested pie at Thanksgiving and the first to go.
Amazing Samoa Rice Krispie Treats: Another recipe I’m super proud of. I literally had dreams about this recipe, and then finally made them. Turns out, I must have been inspired because they are perfect. If you are a Samoa cookie fan, you really NEED to make these RIGHT NOW!
No-bake Cherry Cheesecake: Who doesn’t love a No-bake Cherry Cheesecake? If you ask me what dessert you can make for me, I’ll almost always request a No-bake Cherry Cheesecake. This recipe is sooo good! I need a piece right now!
Scotcharoo Rice Krispie Treats: Making this post might have been a bad idea…now I want all the treats, especially these. Why are Scotcharoos so good? The flavor, the chew…they are PERFECTION! Please tell me that everyone has had these. If not, it feels like some kind of crime against humanity. Maybe we all need to make a batch today and take some to a neighbor just in case they haven’t had the pleasure.
Eclair Cream Puff Dessert: Here we are at the end of the list of 10, but definitely not the last in flavor and amazingness. What a throwback and piece of happiness this dessert is. If you want to impress someone, make them this simple dessert. It hits all the happy notes!
Which one would you make right.this.minute if you had the ingredients? Me? Probably the Scotcharoos or Zucchini Sheet Cake.
Also, you know I can’t help but put up a few honorable mentions. The truth is: These are all just as good as the Top 10.

I love the chewy candy that is like Mambas. They are single wrapped and I think made with real fruit juice. I can’t for the life of me remember what they are called. But I love them….and I wouldn’t share them. I’d stash them somewhere safe where only I can eat them, because my family loves them too. 😉
