Frozen Berry Salad

A bowl of Frozen Berry Salad with three whole raspberries on top in the middle and a spoon inserted diagonally from the left. Above the bowl are a whipped topping container and a plain Greek yogurt container.

Frozen Berry Salad (High in Protein)

A delicious and creamy Frozen Berry Salad made with Greek yogurt, whipped topping, vanilla pudding, and frozen raspberries. Like this no-bake Orange Fluff Jello Salad, it can be made in as little as five minutes. This salad is perfect for a summer get-together. It is always the first thing to go, and people always ask for the recipe.

As far as a jello-type salad, it has a good amount of protein and fiber. You can consider it on the “healthy” side for jello salads. And who even are we if not in our 40s and looking for more ways to include protein in our diet?

Frozen berry salad in a large bowl topped with three raspberries in the middle and a spoon inserted diagonally from the left. Behind the bowl is a carton of plain Greek yogurt and a bag of frozen red raspberries. With the barbecue season upon us, it’s easy to keep the ingredients on hand for a quick and easy side dish for a potluck or family dinner. If you’re not a fan of raspberries, you can use a frozen berry mix. I used all raspberries because that’s what I had on hand, but I also absolutely love raspberries.

This salad is so delicious, I could eat the whole bowl all by myself. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Can I use sugar-free pudding and fat-free whipped topping?

Yes, you can. I recommend using two small sugar-free pudding mixes because I have not found sugar-free in the larger size. Keep in mind, the salad does have a sugar-free aftertaste. My kids don’t really like it made that way.

What other pudding flavors do you recommend?

Cheesecake, French vanilla, and white chocolate would taste good.

I like to use plain Greek yogurt for the high-protein content and add vanilla extract to it. I like the salad a little less sweet, but you can use vanilla Greek yogurt, which has more sugar, and omit the vanilla extract.

Can I use a different type of berry?

If you’re not a fan of raspberries, you can use a frozen berry mix. I used all raspberries because that’s what I had on hand, and they’re my favorite fruit.

How long does the salad last?

Up to 3 days stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
