If you are new here, read my first What’s for Dinner post to get filled in on what the heck’s going on around here. If you have been to this rodeo before, let’s get down to business.
Dinner tonight was this lovely chicken stir-fry that my husband made…..he has been doing almost all of the cooking the last few weeks.
I have made dinner a total of three times in the last three and half weeks and one of those was a frozen pizza. Like I mentioned last week, things have been a little crazy around here. It’s all thanks to the little peanut you can see in the pictures hanging on my fridge.
I am excited to be expecting our fourth child, but I gotta say, it’s killing me this time!!!!! I have been SO sick and completely useless 99% of the time. My husband has taken on almost all of the household chores and cooking. He is such a gem! He could write a heck of a post on simple recipes your husband can make when you have morning sickness. I’ll have him get right on that!
In the last three weeks I have cooked a total of three things…the cream cheese crumb cake, the roast I made when the missionaries came over and the chicken and blackbean chilaquiles, oh and I did mix up three batches of party slush for an event this week. You know I am sick if I’m not cooking……
I can’t wait to see the light at the end of the nausea tunnel. I am finally almost 12 weeks, so I am hoping the nausea will let up soon.
I have too many things I want to make and enjoy eating during the holiday seasons….ain’t nobody got time for nausea!
Keep it Real!
Maria
I am 9 weeks along with child #3–and we could totally use some easy meals for a husband to make while his wife has morning sickness!
Congratulations! I tell ya, my husband has perfected the fast and easy dinner. I will work on compiling a post of ideas and recipes.
